“Steelworkers Then and Now.”

Steelworkers from “Back in the Day” and current steelworkers will tell their stories of life in the mill and changes in the industry. The panel will be introduced by Joel Woller, an historian, who will discuss the importance of collective memory, emphasizing that steelworkers in the 1930’s rallied around stories of the Homestead Strike of 1892 when forming the United Steel  Workers Union.  Set in the historic Pump House(The Waterfront, Homestead), experience the legacy of our United Steelworkers, commemorating 75 years of unity!
