Learn the “in’s and out’s” of Decorative Cross Wraps. Add some sparkle to your next custom rod build or enhance an existing rod in your rod portfolio! You can add a decorative wrap to any type and size of rod—fly, spinning, bait casting, surf and more. Students will learn the basics of Decorative Wraps, including basic tools required, how to layout a wrap, how to create the wrap using multiple thread colors and how to terminate and finish a wrap, along with learning some tips, techniques and resources to simplify the process. Students will create Diamond, Chevron and Flag wraps and possibly Thunderbird, Spider and Fish Scale wraps if time permits. Students will NOT build a rod in this class.
