This class was cancelled due to low enrollment. Students will be introduced to measurement tools, hand tools, milling machines, lathes and grinders. At the completion of this course, students will be able to setup and operate a vertical milling machine and horizontal lathe, be familiar with the tooling necessary to perform various tasks, perform basic cutting, drilling, and boring operations, perform calculations necessary to complete tasks, understand speeds and feeds, and understand all of the requirements and procedures necessary to perform a task safety.
