This course is required for any contractor or maintenance employee that will be conducting an activity in a pre-1978 house or child-occupied facility (daycare center) where paint will be disturbed. Safe and correct methods of equipment operation is emphasized along with supervised use of common tools used in basic oxyacetylene and arc welding. Starting with the basics, learn the how’s and why’s of small gas engines, two (2) and four (4) cycle engines, and air-cooled overhead valve small engines. During the hands-on portion, you will be able to bring in your own equipment, troubleshoot and repair it to your satisfaction. The instructor will oversee and guide you in your work.
