Feb 16Basics of Chess (26SG) This is an interactive course for all skill levels. Key topics covered are basic rules, tactics, openings and endgame with a focus on practical play and strategy. Come to class to learn to play chess or improve your skills. Boards will be provided for the class.

Feb 21Forged San Mai Hunter (26SG) Students will forge-weld a three-layer San Mai billet, shape it into a hunting blade, heat treat, grind, and finish it with a custom handle. Lunch is provided.
