Orienteering is the sport of navigation, using a highly detailed map. Whether you’re a dedicated hiker, competitive runner, or just a family or group out for an activity in a park, this sport helps you improve your navigation and spend a few hours in the woods at the same time. Custom Fishing Rod Building (25FL)

Learn to build a Graphite Fly Rod or Graphite Spinning Rod under the direction of a professional rod builder. Students will learn how to build their own custom rod and develop rod building skills that will last a lifetime. The class will give beginning rod builders a “hands on” understanding of rod blanks and components, how to find the spine, guide location, guide wrapping and finishing techniques. Mon Valley ICD is pleased to be able to offer our members the opportunity to learn what it takes to elevate your golf game to the next level. Several of our members expressed an interest in this type of class; it was added as a way to transition an enjoyable hobby to an opportunity to become a golf instructor. Rock Robinson, the head teaching pro for 3 Lakes Golf Course, has taught the game of golf to hundreds of kids. For the last five years, Rock has also worked with hundreds of golfers to improve their understanding of the game and to improve their skill level. In this class, Rock will focus on three main areas of instruction that are crucial to teaching the game.
