This is a beginner class designed to teach the student the basics of wood turning on a lathe and to turn a pen blank into a usable pen to take home, OR turn handles for a bartender’s tool set. In this class the student will learn about wood lathes, how to use a wood lathe, safety, basic tool and turning principles and finally how to turn two pen kits, OR handles for a bar tool set.
