Custom Fishing Rod Building (25FL)

Learn to build a Graphite Fly Rod or Graphite Spinning Rod under the direction of a professional rod builder. Students will learn how to build their own custom rod and develop rod building skills that will last a lifetime. The class will give beginning rod builders a “hands on” understanding of rod blanks and components, how to find the spine, guide location, guide wrapping and finishing techniques. All students will have a complete, finished rod ready for fishing at the conclusion of the class. All required tools will be provided by the instructor.

Five (5) sessions, Tuesday evenings.
