First Year Beekeeping (19SG)
Beekeeping can be a great hobby or an occupation, and it benefits the environment. Bees provide delicious honey, and help flowers and vegetables thrive. Join instructor Scott Benack as he provides instruction and the how-to’s of hands-on beekeeping. His instruction can help the first-time, or seasoned, beekeeper. Learn about getting started, and managing healthy bee colonies. Mr. Benack is a licensed nuc seller and queen breeder, a live removal expert, and currently serves the local Morris Organic Farm in yearly pollination efforts.
One (1) session, Saturday morning.
Class size limited to fifteen (15). Spouses and retirees will be permitted as space allows.
