Intro to Becoming a Golf Instructor (24SR)

Mon Valley ICD is pleased to be able to offer our members the opportunity to learn what it takes to become a golf instructor. With several of our members expressing interest in this type of class, this class has been added as a way to take what is now an enjoyable hobby and possibly transition in the future to an opportunity to become a golf instructor. Rock Robinson, the head teaching pro for 3 Lakes Golf Course, has taught the game of golf to hundreds of kids. For the last five years, Rock has also worked with hundreds of golfers to improve their understanding of the game and to improve their skill level. In this class, Rock will specifically cover what it takes to become a golf instructor with a focus on three main areas of instruction that are crucial to teaching the game as well as the importance of communication as an instructor. This is a class; it does not include playing a round of golf other than what is limited to and necessary for hands-on instruction related to teaching the game of golf. Classes will be held at the Mon Valley ICD training hub initially this summer and then additional classes will be added this Fall at nearby courses. You do not have to attend all three classes, as this is an introductory class.

Three ( 3 ) sessions, Wednesday evenings.
Class size limited to twenty ( 20 ).
