Golfing at the Next Level (25FL)

Mon Valley ICD is pleased to be able to offer our members the opportunity to learn what it takes to elevate your golf game to the next level. Several of our members expressed an interest in this type of class; it was added as a way to transition an enjoyable hobby to an opportunity to become a golf instructor. Rock Robinson, the head teaching pro for 3 Lakes Golf Course, has taught the game of golf to hundreds of kids. For the last five years, Rock has also worked with hundreds of golfers to improve their understanding of the game and to improve their skill level. In this class, Rock will focus on three main areas of instruction that are crucial to teaching the game. This is a class; it does NOT include playing a round of golf other than what is limited to and necessary for hands-on instruction related to teaching the game of golf. A grunt call is a tool used by hunters to attract deer. It is a device that mimics the sound of a deer’s grunt, which is a vocalization used by deer to communicate with each other. Knife Sharpening (25SG)

This “Bring Your Own Knife” sharpening class provides a hands-on approach to learning the proper techniques for knife sharpening and maintenance. Participants will gain experience in assessing blade condition, selecting the right sharpening tools, and applying effective sharpening and honing methods. The course covers the essentials of maintaining sharp, efficient cutting edges, along with care and handling of sharpening tools to ensure their longevity and effectiveness.
