Each student will learn how to build a canister and make a billet of powdered 1080 ball bearings. This class is taught by Andrew Takach. On the popular TV show, Forged in Fire (season 4, episode 13), Andrew competed and ultimately won with his Shamshir sword. This “Bring Your Own Knife” sharpening class provides a hands-on approach to learning the proper techniques for knife sharpening and maintenance. Participants will gain experience in assessing blade condition, selecting the right sharpening tools, and applying effective sharpening and honing methods.
